About Us
Vitrais Stained Glass is your local custom stained glass manufacturing and installation company. We specialize in creating unique and artistic windows that add beauty and personality to our fellow Arizona residents homes or businesses. If you have a window in your home your not sure what to do with, we can turn it into the focal point of the room. Knowing the importance of insulating our Arizona homes, we do not remove your existing window. We bond our pane of stained glass to the inside of the existing, creating a triple-paned window. Another important reason we prefer this installation process is that your prior window will protect your stained glass piece.
Project costs
It is our goal to provide you with the best value. However, best value is rarely possible at the lowest cost. The actual cost will depend on the particular characteristics of the window you finally commission. Generally, it is not feasible to commission projects with a budget less than $400. Other than that, it should be possible to work within your tastes, style, overall goals and budget in a way agreeable to both of us. The final agreement to commission your window will include a specific fee and work schedule.
For your custom window a portion of our fee is for design as well as for materials and construction. Because of the time and work involved, this design fee is determined in the initial stages of our process and is paid before the actual piece is drawn. When the design is approved this fee is applied to the usual deposit. In the unlikely event you decide not to commission the construction the design fee is non refundable.
Project schedules in most cases are in the order in which they are commissioned. We are working as fast as we can. However your special project will be given the attention and time it requires. You can be assured that the outcome of your project will be worth waiting for.
Rates quoted for your art glass are for design and construction only. The costs for delivery/installation or frames are invoiced separately.
